Located one half mile east of the fishing village of Manchioneal the Reach Falls is one of the most spectacular natural waterfalls that Jamaica has to offer. Some boast that the falls are more spectacular than the popular Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios. It’s an unspoiled beauty nestled in a very peaceful and exotic setting surrounded by virgin rain forest.

The source of the river is only ¾ of a mile above the falls flowing out from the John Crow Mountains. The water is crystal clear and the scenery of hanging vines, stands of bamboo and breathtaking falls are quite spectacular. It is cool, refreshing, and deep in spots. Enjoy the cascading falls, deep gorges and exotic plants abound.
Reach Falls has been a site location for many films. The pool below the main falls has been used as a backdrop in the Tom Cruise movie, "Cocktail".

Dont be surprised if you have the place all to yourself when you go.Ever since the government took over this attraction, no vendors have been allowed to harass visitors into buying anything. This is truly a peaceful adventure.
